Less oxygen reaches your brain due to the altered breathing, and you are stuck in a negative thought cycle.
How do you get out of it?
You realize that you are not feeling well, and your body feels different. Start changing it by using breathwork. You start breathing consciously and apply the breathing exercises.
Regulated breathing brings more oxygen to your brain. Your body can relax, thoughts calm down, and your thinking becomes clearer.
One easy breathwork exercise is called "Box Breathing."
Sit in a comfortable position, with your back straight and your feet flat on the ground.
Close your eyes and take a deep breath in through your nose, counting to four as you inhale.
Hold your breath for four count.
Exhale slowly through your mouth, counting to four as you release the breath.
Hold your breath for four count before inhaling again.
Repeat for 4-6 cycles or until you feel relaxed and centered.
